Database Access Credentials on the Pagely Platform

Database credentials are individual to each application and are contained in the wp-config-hosting.php file we manage for you. You can obtain the credentials from there. For connecting externally, you have a couple of options:

  1. SSH Tunnel using any of your managed SSH user accounts.
  2. If you add a private RDS instance to your plan, we can set you up with an HAPROXY endpoint and restrict access to a list of IPs you provide us.

Note: Pagely creates a unique database user for each WordPress site we host. A compromised database user can only affect the single database the compromised user has been granted access to, isolating any potential damage to your data.
