  1. I know this is an old post but figured id try to ask a question…I installed the coming soon plug in and updated it and activated it but I can’t get it to get live…my site is still showing my actual site. Am I missing a step?

  2. Hey everyone, I came across this post for help, too. I hope you figured out the issue of not being able to see the “Coming Soon” page. If not, here is a possible solution.

When you set up the page and then try to open your website in the same browser, you are still logged in as an admin of your site. You will see the actual site you are working on. You need to either log out of your wordpress account or, better yet, open a different browser and type in your website address. This will show you what the average browser is seeing. Hope that helps.

  3. Hey guys – in case you didn’t figure it out, you need to deactivate Bluehost’s coming soon page that they set as a default for your website to get this to all show.
