    Word press IS an enterprise ready CMS, but that does not make it an ECM. They are not even trying to be that. How for example does WordPress handle document disposition, access and retention policies. Is WordPress and an enterprise search tool for the companies contracts or HR documents, for instance? , ECM is a system for handling an enterprises documents, NOT their web content. Players in that space are Filenet (IBM), Documentum, OpenText, Autonomy (HP) and Alfesco.
